Sunny Pandya, DPT
Trained in neuromuscular rehabilitation techniques, Dr. Pandya recognizes that our body functions as a whole. Pain and injury in one area can have an effect in another area of the body and could be the cause of your pain. How can my neck pain be because of my foot you ask? Well, that's where Dr. Pandya's excellence in techniques such as DNS, Vojta therapy, Lewit method, Janda's approach, ergonomic training, Hesch Method, Sahrmann's approach comes into play.
After receiving his Masters in Advanced Athletic Training and Sport Science and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York, Dr. Pandya has continuously taken advanced courses to expand his manual therapy skills
Disappointed ,after working in "traditional physical therapy clinics", where patients received hot pack treatments and were handed off to aides or ever changing therapists, Dr. Pandya, practiced and has achieved expertise in Dynamic Neuromuscular Techniques. He started his practice with the vision of providing effective, holistic care that gives you faster healing and better mobility so you can get back to the activities of your choice.
In his 10+ years as a physical therapist, Dr. Pandya has treated hundreds of patients and athletes ranging from minor league baseball players, golfers, professional dancers, runners, gymnasts, weight lifters and professionals from other walks of life, including doctors. He has encountered patients who have tried all forms of treatment but have not seen results. He has successfully treated so called "failed cases"; i.e. those who have not seen results from traditional therapy services.
His patients appreciate his ability to identify the root of the problem and provide specific treatments and exercises to get better and improve quality of life.
